Competition for the best sponge in Stokey!

Fancy yourself as the next Nigella? Or have a budding junior Jamie or Delia at home just waiting to be discovered! What better way to show off all that hidden talent than to enter our competition for the ‘Best sponge in Stokey!’

It’s open to all comers – grownups and children alike – so get baking and impress the judges with your very best sponge!  Adult winners will receive a copy of The Secrets of The Tea Rooms recipe book and a voucher for a delicious fruit tart from The Spence Bakery. Children’s cakes will be judged separately with prizes of French macaroons, chocolate lollies and their very own copy of The Tea Rooms recipe book.

So on 3 June, bring your creative endeavours to The Tea Rooms between 12pm and 2pm where our very own Isabelle will be judging entries along with Alex Ross from The Spence Bakery and our special guest judge from the local Women’s Institute. Come and claim the honour of creating THE BEST SPONGE IN STOKEY!
